FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Harry Chapin Food Bank is usually the one collecting and distributing donations. But Tuesday they got one of their own.

28 rotary clubs from across Southwest Florida came together to help the food bank. They presented representatives from Harry Chapin with a check for more than $109,000 to purchase a new refrigerated truck.

It’s something the food bank needs, especially this time of year.

The rotary clubs who came together for this donation are from Lee, Collier, Charlotte and Hendry counties.
