CAPE CORAL, Fla. — After the city was slapped on the wrist for digging in the neighborhood residents who live off Coral Point Drive in Cape Coral, say someone is back at it again!

They're not sure who is doing it, but those who live by are fed up, and they want answers.

Those who live near Cape Coral Point say someone is digging into their waterfront view again.

Resident and President of the Island Cove Housing Association, Dan Ulmer believes the developer may be responsible. The last group caught digging out here was the city, and they say this time it's not them.

This comes after the Florida Department of Environmental Protection cited the city for tearing up mangroves along this waterway while clearing out some brush.

Neighbors say whoever is doing the digging will be found out and forced to stop.

We are super concerned, and we are going forces with these people out here to work with them along with four-mile cove.

Dan says he plans to speak with city leader's tomorrow morning to get to the bottom of this.
