A registered sex offender moved into a Cape Coral right next to an elementary, middle and high school bus stop location.
Alvaro Arrendondo was convicted in 2008 and moved to the home in June.
One mother of an elementary middle school students reached out to Fox 4, saying she complained to the Lee County School District about this issue. She says her son's elementary bus stop location was moved, but not the middle school location.
A spokesperson from the school district told us they were not notified by the Department of Corrections to move any bus stops in this circumstance. Arrendondo's crime did not include a minor.
They did move the elementary location to accommodate parents' complaints, but say they were not required to.
