LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A scholarship opportunity is closing in March.
The deadline to apply for the Red Sox’s scholarships for the spring of 2021 is due by March 12th at 11:59 pm (ET).
The Red Sox Foundation plans to award a $5,000 scholarship to 14 academically talented Lee County public high school seniors who have demonstrated a commitment to community service.
The funds are raised annually from proceeds of the Red Sox annual Swings for the Sox Golf Tournament. “
One deserving student from each of the 14 public high schools in Lee County will be awarded.
