CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- The new recreation center at North Charlotte Regional Park in Port Charlotte will open Monday.
The 30,000 square foot recreation center will feature a gymnasium, fitness center, multipurpose rooms, community garden, and community services administrative offices.
The project has been under construction since last summer.
It cost just over eight million dollars to build.
The hours of operation will be:
Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The park is located at 1120 O'Donnell Boulevard in Port Charlotte.
