**UPDATE (5:00PM)** -- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office now says Wade Brown has been located and is in custody.
Deputies tell Fox 4 that Brown was acting erratically Wednesday morning and waving a gun when he showed up at his job at Southwest Curbing.
Employees told them he stated he “was going back to the gangster life and not dealing with this anymore.”
Deputies say he then left work and approached cars at the intersection of Airport Rd. and Taylor Rd., waving a gun at them, and demanding drivers to get out.
He was later apprehended and arrested along Cooper Street in the area of Charlotte High School.
All area school lock downs have been lifted.
Brown has four felony convictions, which would prevent him from possessing a firearm.
Brown was taken to the Charlotte County Jail and is currently charged with Carjacking.
Deputies say they're still looking for the gun he had on him.
