CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Robert William Sanchez, 34, was arrested this afternoon after major crimes executed a search warrant of his home on Central Ave., in Punta Gorda. The investigation into Sanchez began on Nov. 9, after allegations of inappropriate sexual abuse of a minor was reported.
The victim, who was under 12, reported sexual abuse in multiple locations for several years.
The search warrant of Sanchez’s home uncovered digital images consistent with child erotic and child pornography.
Sanchez is facing charges of sexual battery victim under 12-years-old, possession of photos of sexual performance by a child.
