LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- People living in a popular Cape Coral gated community, are protesting outside another community, saying their builder isn't standing behind their work.
Several Sandoval homeowners held up signs outside of a DR Horton model home in Cape Coral. Our Fox 4 team, recorded the video on Dec. 13.
Homeowners say their homes were built within the last 10 years, and they are all experiencing similar defects. Now they say DR Horton isn't doing anything to resolve the defects.
"We paid a lot of money for the homes. We aren't looking for a lot of money. Just reimburse us for repairs for our roofs and for repairs that were made by other homeowners in their kitchens. It's not in their pocket, not a grand amount of money," said one homeowner.
