LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Florida Power & Light and LCEC both say they have 'essentially' restored power to all areas they serve.

FPL said 99% of it's customers in Southwest Florida have their power restored, while LCEC said it's restored power for 99% of customers in Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Pine Island, Sanibel, Marco Island.

Most of the remaining LCEC outages are located in Lehigh Acres, Immokalee, and Everglades City and pockets of customers and individual services with damage to the infrastructure in Cape Coral and North Fort Myers. Downed poles, damaged transformers, and broken wires are the focus.

Both FPL and LCEC said if you still do not have power, you may be in a severely damaged area, or equipment you're responsible for must be repaired in order to receive power.
