CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Florida Highway Patrol hopes witnesses can come forward after a man was killed in a Charlotte County crash.
They say around 10 p.m. Monday night, 21-year-old Dylan Edic was unable to follow a curve in the road while driving southbound on Cape Haze Drive near Haitian Road.
Troopers say Edic’s truck hit two palm trees and overturned, ejecting the driver onto the road. The truck then caught fire.
They say Edic died at the scene.
