UPDATE (10:39 AM)--A neighbor has told Fox 4 that a woman was stabbed 17 times in front of her children.
The neighbor said they also saw a helicopter circling the area of NE 15th Place.
Cape Coral Police has confirmed this is an ongoing investigation.
Fox 4 is continuing to stay on top of this story as we receive more information.
There is a large police presence and crime scene trucks at a home in Cape Coral.
Fox 4 was the first on scene and observed the street was closed off with police tape.
The Forensic team with Cape Cora Police appeared to be going in and out of the house and all-around collecting evidence.
