FORT MYERS, Fla.—The Lee County Port Authority Police have arrested a man they say got into a fight at Southwest Florida International Airport.

In a report, police say James Ireton was throwing punches at several taxi drivers at the airport. Police say when they arrived at the airport, Ireton smelled like alcohol and was disorderly.

Police say due to his aggressive nature, the officer pulled out his taser and ordered Ireton to the ground, which he complied with.

Ireton was taken into custody.

The report goes on to say this is not the first-time Ireton has had run-ins with the Port Authority. Police say another time, he was too drunk to board a plane. On another occasion, he verbally abused an operator while talking on a courtesy phone, at the airport.
