Police make arrest in gas station shooting

Fort Myers Police have made an arrest in a shooting Monday night at a gas station. It happened 6:08 pm at the Chevron gas station at 3005 Cleveland Avenue. 

When they arrived, police found the victim, Tony Crews, 42, with a non-life threatening gunshot would. Crews identified the shooter as Kenneth Williams, 40. Crews was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital. A witness told police he saw a black Nissan Altima drive by with a person shooting out the window at Crews.

At about 6:15 pm, officers saw that car on Winkler Avenue and saw Williams get out of the car. Williams was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle and taken to the Lee County Jail.
