FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Crime scene investigators were working overnight to figure out who shot and killed a person at a Fort Myers pharmacy Monday night.

Lee County deputies put up crime scene tape at the corner of Palm Beach Boulevard and Buckingham Road shortly before 11pm Monday.

Deputies responded to a shots fired call, then deemed the incident at the CVS pharmacy a homicide.

Deputies tell us there is no threat to the public right now.

Fox 4 talked to a woman who works nearby who was shaken by the incident.  “I pulled up and I asked you guys what happened, and then I didn't want to work. It’s scary because I'm here every morning at 3 o’clock, so something could happen,” says Gabby Mowan.”
There’s no word yet on who the victim is, and no suspect description is available at this time.

We’ll update as soon as we learn more on this story.
