CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Over a dozen homes in a Cape Coral were vandalized Saturday evening.

Paintballs were splattered throughout the neighborhood, all over cars, garages, and windows.

“I actually just got home from work and I realized there was a big old paint splatter on my door, and then after further investigation, I realized there were other houses that had it as well, “ said Mario Hernandez.

Security camera footage caught a person in a silver car speeding up and down the streets.

“I have a fresh wound on my truck, ”said Burce Valliere.

Neighbors tell Fox 4 that after questioning, the Cape Coral Police were able to pinpoint the children involved in vandalizing the homes last night.

“they are damaging our property and I’m not going to stand for it,” said Burce Valliere.

“ I get it, they were just out there having their version of fun not realizing that it does affect others,” said Mario Hernandez.

We are still working to figure out if and how the children in this incident will be held accountable.
