FORT MYERS, Fl — A Fort Myers Police Officer shot and wounded a man who charged him with a knife while serving a Federal arrest warrant on Central Avenue in Fort Myers Friday night.
In the process of serving a Federal warrant, the man charged the officer with a knife. The officer then discharged his firearm. The man was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment of his sustained wounds.
