NAPLES, Fla. -- Catholic Charities in Collier County had a ribbon-cutting Thursday for a new food resource center in East Naples.

The Judy Sullivan Family Resource Center will have programs for senior outreach, refugee resettlement, as well as educational programs for adults and children.

It will also provide a 'choice food pantry' to families and individuals with low-to-moderate incomes.

"These are people who are paying high rents, their salaries aren't too high, and it's very difficult for them to make ends meet. So we have a choice food pantry that clients can access, and they're able to come in and select the foods that family would like to eat," says Sharon Aragona, Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice.

The new center, which is located on Tamiami Trail near Airport-Pulling Road is named after Judy Sullivan. She was a long-time donor and volunteer of Catholic Charities in Collier County.
