According to reports, deputy Martin Allen reached out to what he thought was a "15-year-old girl" on Tinder and then continued contacting her through Instagram where he was again told early on that she was fifteen.

Allen asked the teen to live with him and send nude photos of herself on more than one occasion.

Most of these conversations occurred while he was on the clock.

Allen made plans to meet the girl at a local Walmart and showed up in his patrol car, which was photo-documented by investigators.

According to reports, Allen stated that he knew what he was doing was illegal, but was missing a relationship in his life and was sorry for what he had done.

Allen was arrested on Valentine's Day and is facing charges of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor.
