FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man working in Fort Myers never made it home to Georgia as expected earlier this month.
Charles Ray Rogers, 59, was staying at the Howard Johnson hotel and had plans to return home by bus on Feb. 17, but never showed up. His family last spoke to him on Feb. 16.
Rogers checked out of the hotel on Feb. 19 and may still be in the area and frequenting hotels in the Cleveland corridor.
