CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Cape Coral Police have arrested a man in connection to a sexual battery charge outside of Lee County.
Cape Coral Police Department Marine Unit made a vessel stop for a boating violation at the Cape Coral Yacht Club on the 5800 block of Driftwood Parkway.
After searching his name through the database, the Marine Officer discovered that John Evans had an out of state fugitive warrant out of Michigan for sexual battery.
Evans was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.
