LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Authorities are investigating a report of a man who was masturbating near a back yard where children were playing.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, a man reported on Saturday that while his two children and a neighbor's child were in his back yard, an unidentified man was riding a bicycle along the canal bank behind the home. He says he saw the man masturbating in an open lot near the children.
The parent started the chase the suspect, but he got away. He was last seen in the area of Homer Avenue South and 11th Street SW.
The suspect left behind his bicycle and a cell phone, which were taking into evidence.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male 40-50 years old, 5'8" tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing dark gray work pants and a bright green reflective vest with black sneakers.
A similar incident was reported on Thanksgiving day, not far away on Locke Lane.
