COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Roberto Alfonso Amezag, 33, is facing life felony charges in connection to two assaults of women in Golden Gate.
He is charged with attempted sexual battery and burglary of an occupied dwelling with battery and he also faces
sexual battery with great bodily harm, kidnapping, and burglary with battery charges
He was also found guilty of sexually battering a woman while she was asleep in her home in 2017 in Golden Gate.
DNA recovered during the investigation linked Amezaga to the crime, according to forensic results from the Florida
Department of Law Enforcement.
Amezaga is scheduled to return to court May 2nd for sentencing.
