CAPE CORAL — Cape Coral Police said a man died Thursday after apparently getting trapped underneath his car door.
Police got the call around 5:15 p.m. to respond to the corner of SW 44th Ter. and Pelican Blvd. Officers found the man trapped between the open front door on the driver's side and the frame of the car.
Police believe the death was an accident, but the department is still investigating to determine an official cause of death.
