LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A proactive traffic stop by Cape Coral Police leads to the arrest of a man who was on probation.
Officers say, Ladedrick Harris, 36, was speeding on south east 24th Avenue between Hancock Bride Parkway and Viscaya Parkway on July 17th, 2019.
The deputy who stopped Harris discovered he had been on probation for a Sexual Battery with a weapon that occurred in 2001 and Grand Theft that happened in 2016.
Harris adjudicated for violating the requirements of his probation.
Harris was sent back to prison and will serve ten years in prison for the remainder of his probation.
