CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Kyle Patrick Orr, 32, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a woman in Cape Coral in 2019.
Orr pled no contest straight to the court on March 10, giving up his right to a trial.
Every defendant can plead directly to the court for sentencing.
Prosecutors argued for a life sentence for Orr and received it.

The defendant was adjudicated guilty and sentenced for one count of Second Degree Murder.
