A man is accused of causing a scene and disturbing hotel guests.
Lee County deputies say Jerry Drake was screaming, cursing, and banging on hotel room doors at the Wyndham Garden Hotel Wednesday night.
Deputies say they could smell alcohol on him, so they took him back to his hotel room.
They told him to stay there until he sobered up.
They say later on in the night, they were called back to the hotel for the same complaints about Drake.
They say they found him hiding behind a bush on hotel property.
When deputies tried to go up to him, Drake ran away.
Deputies say they were able to catch up to him and arrest him for disorderly intoxication.
