FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lee County Sheriff's Deputies responding to a shooting after a man accidently shot his wife after cleaning his guns.
According to a police report, on Friday, April 7, 2017, William Grida was sitting in the living room of his Fort Myers home with his wife cleaning his guns. After the cleaning, he says he loaded one of the guns and it went off.
Grida's wife was struck in the right leg. She was trauma alerted to Lee Memorial Hospital. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
