SOUTHWEST, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office confirms that Jareline Mojica, 16, and her infant daughter, Kailini Mojica, have been found safe.
Her father spoke with Fox 4. He said he was relieved and happy after learning his daughter
and granddaughter were found safe.
Minutes before he learned that they were safe, he explained the emotional toll the ordeal had taken on him.
"Knowing she is kind of like gone and not knowing where she is at. It's hard to process," Evaristo Mojica said.
He said his family is looking into getting some support services.
