FOX 4 continues to spotlight people in our communtiy making a difference during the coronavirus pandemic.

People like local entreprenieur Malike Adigun.

The business owns Curate Entertainment. The group provies DJ and live music services at weddings.

Like many, the company's feeling the financial impact of COVID-19.

While Malike's figuring out next steps for his company, he launched an online initiative in an effort to support others.

It's called the 'Keep Them Open' challenge.

To participate, an individual or company sends a donation to a small business then tags five others to do the same.

Adigun tells FOX 4, he wants to show more than financial support for local entrepreneurs.

“The point of it was not necessarily how much you’re gonna give to someone else, but just like just the fact that we have each others’ back. ”

Some local businesses have accepted the challenge, including Millennial Brewing.
