Lee County Sheriff Deputies are on the lookout for the person who robbed a Circle K store in Fort Myers early Thursday morning.

It happened at the corner of San Carlos Boulevard and Whitewater Court around 1:20 a.m..

Investigators say the robber was armed with a knife and demanded all the cash from the register.  He was given some cash before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as 5’3”, with a medium to heavy build.  During the robbery, he pulled a jacket over his head in an attempt to conceal his identity.

The Fox 4 crew on the scene saw LCSO helicopters searching for the suspect.
