LEHIGH ACRES, Fla-- The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to an overnight shooting in the 5000 block of Beecher Street. Deputies arrived around 9:32 p.m. where they found one man deceased.
At this time the victim has not been identified.
LCSO said the Major Crimes Unit is calling this a homicide and is now working the case. LCSO stressed this is an isolated incident and no one else is in danger.
