Last day for two hurricane debris locations

LEE COUNTY, Fla.—Lee county is closing several collection sites for Hurricane Irma debris.
 
•         Pine Island site, 7630 Stringfellow Road, at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8
•         Estero site, 21651 Via Coconut Point, at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8
•         Central Fort Myers site at Page Field, 4551 S. Cleveland Ave. at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15
•         South Fort Myers site at 14790 A&W Bulb Road at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec 22.

If you still have the need, you can continue to self-haul horticulture debris to North Fort Myers, 17771 N. Tamiami Trail, and Lee County Mosquito Control District, 1840 Gunnery Road. These sites will remain open until the collection efforts have been completed prior to New Year’s Day.

Residents can continue to self-haul construction and demolition debris at no charge to the Waste-to-Energy Facility, 10500 Buckingham Road, until the collection efforts have been completed.
