LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Former Fort Myers Police captain Jay Rodriguez was back in a Lee County courtroom Thursday for a case management hearing.
Rodriguez is charged with misconduct, perjury and prostitution.
The charges stem from a 2013 undercover sting operation. Investigators say video shows him in a sex act with a prostitute while working undercover.
Rodriguez retired from the force after the charges were filed.
His pretrial hearing is set for March 10th.
