COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- An undercover deputy arrested a Naples man Thursday after they say the man was lewdly exposing himself in a nature park.

It happened at Serenity Walk Park on Collier Boulevard.

According to a Collier County Sheriff's report, the deputy was sent to the park after complaints of men exposing themselves in the park.

The deputy says that around noon Thursday, he parked in the parking lot and observed a man, later identified as 81-year-old Robert Steckenrider, park and then follow another man into the park.

As the deputy entered the park in plain clothes, he observed as Steckenrider appeared to be following him through the trails. The deputy then confirmed that Steckenrider had his shorts unzipped and his genital exposed "in a vulgar and indecent manner."

The deputy identified himself and placed Steckenrider under arrest. He is charged with indecent exposure in public.
