COLLIER COUNTY, Fla-- Southwest Florida residents are speaking out against President Donald Trump and his decision to not release his tax returns. Hundreds met at Cambier Park in Naples Saturday morning to rally together.

“I think we want to disclose what his taxes are, who he does business with and what are his entanglements in foreign governments,” said Naples resident Aaron Knott.

Knott believes if Trump were to release his returns citizens could have a better understanding of his foreign policy decisions.

“We will know whether or not he’s making money and whether or not he has entanglements with foreign governments and foreign entities because all of those will have an impact on his foreign policy today,” said Knott.

Other residents in attendance said they agreed.

“Otherwise people just think he’s totally dishonest and it’s covering up his possible connections to Russia," said resident Lovice Holland.

Holland said she found the event on Facebook and said she didn't think twice about showing up and speaking out.

"I mean 60 years presidents have revealed their tax returns and this is just one of many, many behaviors of his that is out of place and unacceptable," said Holland.
