NAPLES, Fla. -- A 71-year-old man was killed in a crash Monday night in Naples.
In a report, Florida Highway Patrol says 71-year-old Gregory Chumbley of Naples was going west on Vanderbilt Beach Road.
They say near Livingston Road, he went off the roadway, went over the concrete median, and continued driving into oncoming traffic.
He eventually hit another car head-on.
Chumbley was killed in the crash.
The other driver, 61-year-old Lisa Gast, who is also from Naples, is in the hospital in serious condition.
A third vehicle was also involved in the crash, but that driver was not injured.
Troopers say the crash is under investigation.
