A bullet hit a bedroom where a 7-month old baby was sleeping in a crib on July 4th.

It happened at a home on 28th Street SW in Lehigh Acres.

The bullet pierced the window of the child's room and landed next to a closet. The child's father, who did not want his identity revealed to the public, says he now plans to move his family.

A father of three who lives next to victims says the gunshots sounded like it came from a high powered assault rifle.

"We almost had a baby killed here for celebration shots or criminal activity. It's not a good thing," said the neighbor. He is also looking for a new place to live after Tuesday's shooting.

"My wife woke up and she was freaked out," he said. "I didn't want to go outside! It sounded like triple fire," he added.

He says the rounds were quick, and repetitive.

"It was three pops right after another."

No one was injured in the shooting.
