FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A project that started nearly four years ago can finally open their doors and hearts to area families in need.
Former patients and families took a tour of the new Golisano Cchildren's Hospital facility, and were in awe of the latest features. The new hospital will start with 128 beds, eventually expanding to 160.
A Ronald McDonald charity house is also on site.
The hospital had their grand opening this Saturday.
