Fort Myers Police Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller's nam added to Fallen Officers Memorial

LEE COUNTY, Fla. --- A 39th brick will be added to the Fallen Officers Memorial at the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy in honor of Fort Myers Police Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller. 

The ceremony will be held on Friday at the academy located at 4312 Michigan Avenue in Fort Myers. 

Fort Myers Police Chief Derrick Diggs and Public Service Academy Director Todd Everly are expected to give brief remarks; following the unveiling of the memorial brick by Officer Jobbers-Millers' family. 

The fallen officer was a recruit of the 137th law enforcement class which graduated in June of 2015. Officer Jobbers-Miller was shot on July 21 while in the line of duty and died from his injuries one week later. 

The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m.
