FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police responded to a structure fire on Dora Street located in Southward Village.
There was no one in the residence at the time, and the adjacent apartment was evacuated with no injury.
After investigating, Detectives arrested the sole occupant at the time of the fire, Crystal Beard,33.
Beard was charged with Trespassing and First-Degree Arson and booked accordingly.
Beard has been arrested 20 times since 2008.
All tenants from each apartment will be temporarily housed in other locations while the unit is inhabitable at this time.
