FORT MYERS, Fla. — Several units responded to a single-car crash early this morning from Stella Street to Katherine Street off of Cleveland Avenue.
Sgt. Ashley Schindler with the Fort Myers Police Department tells Fox there is one fatality with no other injuries or transports.
FP&L is on scene working on bringing the streetlight back up.
The streetlights were installed not long ago, according to Sgt. Schindler.
Both directions of Cleveland Avenue are shut down.
This crash is still under investigation.
