FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Fort Myers man is facing felony charges after driving without a license and causing a crash that killed a man from Massachusetts.
FHP troopers say on Dec. 31, Alfredo Alvarado Calel, 20, was traveling eastbound on SR 80 on the inside lane and crossed over into the westbound lanes, colliding head-on with a sedan near Shoreland Drive.
The driver of the car, a 28-year-old man from Fall River Massachusetts, passed away as a result of the crash.
Alvarado Calel suffered serious injures and is facing felony charges of driving without a valid license involving a death.
