A Collier County man faced a judge Friday, accused of stalking and groping a teenager on her way home from school. Keenan Anderson, 25, is charged with felony battery, stalking and trespassing on school grounds.

On March 2, the 16-year-old victim told police she was walking home on Gilchrist Street from Lely High School when a white male she didn't know followed her home. She said he asked her for her cell phone number and groped her a couple of times. The girl said she gave him a fake number so he would go away.

Cynthia Licona, a mother who lives on Gilchrist, said she can't imagine the same thing happening to her daughter.

"This is the reason I always go to pick her up," Licona said. "It's really dangerous."

Thursday, the man was back in the area, this time following the same teen to school. She told police he asked her why she hadn't answered his text messages, and that he even went on school grounds where he grabbed her again. This time, it was caught on the school's surveillance video.

Deputies identified the suspect as Keenan Anderson. He was arrested at his home in the College Park Apartments off of Rattlesnake Hammock Road.

At his first court appearance Friday, Judge Michael Brown told Anderson in no uncertain terms that he was not to contact the victim.

"You may not chat with her," Brown told Anderson. "You cannot get online with her through Facebook, text messaging. You cannot send smoke signals. No contact means no contact. Do I make myself explicitly clear?"

"Yes sir," Anderson replied.

Brown set Anderson's bond at $52,000.
