CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police have charged a North Fort Myers woman with DUI after they say she sped through a crime scene with numerous patrol cars on site.

41-year-old Pamela Smith is facing charges of DUI and Possession of Marijuana.

According to Cape Coral Police, just after midnight early Monday morning, officers were investigating a motorcycle crash that left two people seriously injured along Vincennes Boulevard.

During the investigation, which included crime scene tape, flares, cones, and patrol cars with lights activated, police say Smith drove through at a high rate of speed.

Officers ordered her to stop, and conducted a DUI investigation, during which Smith's BAC was tested at .154 and .164, double the legal limit.  She was also found in possession of marijuana.

Smith was taken to the Lee County Jail where she is being held on $2500 bond.
