A 2-year-old girl drowned at a community pool located inside of an Immokalee apartment complex, Saturday.
Two-year-old Elizabeth Sebastion was last seen about 15 minutes before deputies arrived. Her mother says her two older sons found the child in the pool and brought her inside.
Collier County Deputies say they received a call at approximately 3:45 in reference to a drowning at the Tall Pines Apartments.
Investigators say deputies began CPR immediately, but Sebastion had no pulse and her skin was room temperature.
Resuscitation efforts were made on the scene, en route to the hospital, and at the hospital but Elizabeth did not survive, CCSO said.
Investigators say the pool was fenced in with child lock gates and they don't know how the girl got through them.
An investigation is now being conducted and the Department of Children and families is now involved.
