Deputies search for man who robbed 2 banks in 30 minutes

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County deputies are searching for a man who robbed two banks within a half-hour of each other in Golden Gate this afternoon.

A robbery was reported at 1:55 p.m., at Chase Bank, 5939 Pine Ridge Road, in the Crossroads shopping plaza.

Detectives say at 2:22 p.m., the same man committed another robbery at Chase Bank, 3693 Santa Barbara Blvd., in the Berkshire Commons shopping plaza.

The suspect is described as a tall black male with a muscular build. He was wearing all black, including a black hat and what appeared to be a black bandana around his face.
