Department of Health in Lee County offers COVID-19 vaccines

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Lee County says it will be administering the COVID-19 vaccine.

The department said it will be giving the vaccine to high-risk frontline health care workers and individuals who are 65 and older.

The department says the vaccines will be administered at the following sites on the following days:

Monday, Dec. 28:
Estero Park and Rec Center
9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd.
Estero, Fla. 33928
2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 29:
East County Regional Library
881 Gunnery Road N.
Lehigh Acres, Fla. 33971
9 a.m. – Noon
2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Old Bonita Spring Library

The department said it has received 300 doses of the vaccine available at each site. There is no fee for the vaccine and no appointment is necessary. The department asks that you bring identification and a copy of your ID badge or current pay-stub if you are a health care worker.
