LEE COUNTY, Fla — Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on State Road 82 that killed two men from Lehigh Acres Friday night.
Troopers say a 19-year-old man was driving a sedan west in the center lane on State Road 82.
Two men, both 19-year-old and18-year-old, were also in the car with him.
They say a 50-year-old man and his 44-year-old passenger were driving an SUV and exited the driveway of Lee Memorial Park and made a left turn into the sedan's path.
The front of the sedan collided with the left side of the SUV, troopers say.
The sedan ended up crossing the median and stopped in the eastbound lanes of State Road 82.
Troopers say the SUV exited the roadway on the north shoulder and ended up on an embankment.
The three men in the sedan received minor injuries from the crash.
Troopers say both men in the SUV injuries were fatal.
