LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Colorado man is facing one kidnapping charge after a woman claims he was holder her against her will in Fort Myers.
46-year-old George Delorme of Fountain, Colorado is being held in the Lee County Jail on $50,000 bond.
According to Lee County Sheriff's Office, calls came in around 4:55 PM Thursday from the area of Six Mile Cypress Parkway and U.S. 41 about an in-progress kidnapping.
Deputies later performed a traffic stop on the suspected vehicle on Daniels Parkway.
A female passenger in the vehicle told investigators that Delorme was holding her against her will, and she was scared to leave him due to threats he has made in the past.
After statements from both people, detectives found probable cause to arrest Delorme.
