NAPLES, Fla. -- A former Collier County Sheriff’s deputy is accused of doctor shopping for pills and being impaired while on duty.

According to the sheriff's office, deputy Kevin Dobies was dismissed back in September and was arrested Monday, charged with withholding information from doctors.

According to investigators, Dobies sought drugs from a doctor without disclosing that he had already received similar drugs from another doctor less than 30 days prior.

They also say  Dobies was under the influence of those drugs at work on multiple occasions.
